Paloma Cañizares Ofﬁce is an international practice established in 2004 and which operates within the ﬁelds of architecture, interior design, research and development.
The studio’s work is based on the importance of mixing functionality, materials, construction techniques and aesthetics. The ofﬁce has developed over 80 architecture, interior design and product projects. Paloma won the AD Heineken New Talents award in 2012, has been teaching for five years in the IED and is a constant lecturer.
She has been on national and international panels (Premios FAD, Design Parade 7 at Villa Noailles-Hyères, AD awards, RADO award), advisor for the Madrid Design Festival 2018 and member of the board of DI.MAD, her work has been featured in The World of Interiors, Living, AD Spain, The Daily Telegraph, El Mundo and Shangai Daily among others.
In 2011, Paloma Cañizares founded the design and furniture publisher PCM Design www.pcmdesign.es to develop unusual projects and support the work of young designers.
She developed 22 collections and sold in over 85 shops all over the world including Rosanna Orlandi, Mint shop, Colette, Le Bon Marché, Vitra Design Museum and Lane Crawford.
Her work as a design publisher appeared in The New York Times, Milk, DAMn, Frame, Inventario, AD, Tlmag, Anew, Elephant, Surface among others.
